Target Group:-

All victims of alcohol and substance abuse with a special focus on:-


  • Children including street children, both in and out of school,
  • Adolescents/Youth,
  • Dependent women and young girls, affected by substance abuse,
  • High risk groups such as sex workers, Injecting drug users, Drivers etc,
  • Prison inmates in detention facilities including children in juvenile homes addicted to drugs.

    I am Shivakumar basically from Shivamogga, working as a auto driver. Since 9 years I know very well about the Surabee De-addiction centre. This centre is doing good work for society. I have admitted my many friends, relatives all are recovered by alcohol and substance abuse with leading good life with family and society. I wished and thanks for this centre and all the best, and give more service to the society.

    I am Said Ahamod working as a construction worker I am living in Sominakoppa, Shimoga (D) . This centre also is in Sominakoppa by this reason I know about this centre very well.     I am Chandrushekhar EX - M.L.A, unfortunately I visited to Surabee De-addiction Centre. I am very happy by seeing work of this centre. Really we were scared about the youths are addicted to alcohol and Substance abuse in very fast way. In this situation I have satisfaction about the working of this centre. I wished all the best for every success.


    I am Pinto, working as secretary of Red Cross Society, Shivamogga. Unfortunately I got an opportunity to visit to this centre. I wished to this centre have every success to in the way of recover all addicts and I wished to all clients get more advantages of this centre to recover by addiction and leading good life with family and with society.

    I am Hanumanthappa (Changed the Name) I am working as labor, living with my wife and children in Gopala, Shivamogga city. Since 10 years I was addicted to drinks, every day I am fighting with my wife and send her home town. One day some one told about this de-addiction centre to my wife. After She admitted to me for this centre, by forcefully, that’s the reason I have very upset. Later I adjusted to take treatment. By Treatment, class, counseling, activities, etc these are all things made me recover by addiction.

    After treatment me and my family leading life very happily, and what was I lost when my drinking days now everything I gained. After taken treatment recovered by addiction I purchased new sight and built new home. I would like to say thanks to Surabee.

Mr. Hareesh (Changed the name)

He was 32 year old, working as a tailor. In 8 years back he was addicted to drinks. His parents were forcefully admitted to him to our centre for treatment, some how we started treatment, after one weak we got a shock news about this person, that is, he was a transgender, for this reason made him to addicted to drinks. After we gave some example to him about who have missed opportunity to lead a life of marriage life in a society. Later he realized him self, now he was leading a spiritual life to giving service to the poor people and giving tailoring training to poor children in a famous Mata.

Mr. Mahesh (Changed the Name)

He was 40 years old, he have wife and 2 children. Since 15 years he was addicted to drinks, because of his addiction his whole family was very upset. In 2005 take him to our center to treatment. Now he is recovered by alcohol addiction, leading a good life with his family, giving good education to his children and he invested 25 lack for build a new home and with a gained good name in a society.
